http server vista

Http server for Vista?

I know it's still beta, but anyone know of an http server that works in Vista currently? I love using Vista and am reporting any bugs I find however I normally have an apache http server running for a webpage that I have. I'm unable to get it to work in Vista. . .seems to install properly from what I can tell, but can't get it to load up. Errors with ports. ...firewalls' not enabled in Vista either. . .so. .shouldn't be a problem? (works fine on my winXP boot)
Thanks in advance!

Check if MS defender has something to do with it, so disable it for a test.

Okay, I tried that. Disabling that didn't help. The error message that I'm getting from Apache server when trying to start it is as follows (Perhaps I'm just messing up w/ a setting in Apache?)
<OS 10048>Only one usage of each socket address <protocol/network address/port> is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 No listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs Note the errosr or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.
Thanks
for replying, btw!

If i intepreted that right, there is port 80 already in use. Check which process has it open. Might have something to do with beta reporting tools etc. -- Try, learn, experience.
